As Manager, Standards you are integral to ensuring the highest possible research standards across Risk & Compliance content. As a member of the Data Strategy Standards team, you will work closely with the Risk & Compliance and Legal and Privacy teams to address legal requests, distill complex inquiries, answer questions relating to coverage criteria and develop and share best practices for content management and creation.
Document and respond to data subject access requests and legal queries, liaising with the Legal and Research Teams to bring about a satisfactory and timely conclusion.
Identify any data policy change requirements arising out of data access requests or changing data privacy requirements.
Be proactive in identifying and mitigating risks relating to structured R&C content.
Ensure that all third party content is used according to its terms and conditions.
Provide coaching and guidance to the Research team on query handling and standards related issues.
Provide support to the Data Strategy Risk & Compliance team in the area of customer facing documentation.
Mentor and develop a global highly-skilled team of managers, researchers and technical analysts.
Perform other tasks as assigned by your manager, Director, Standards.
You Have (Essential Qualifications):
Law degree from an accredited law school is required.
3+ years of experience in the risk and compliance space.
Familiarity with online legal research tools.
Experience handling and responding to external queries of a sensitive nature.
Ability to retain composure when handling queries from prominent individuals.
Ability to analyze complex content matter to identify and resolve critical issues
Ability to understand the big picture impact of change on overall approach to data.
Accuracy and attention to detail with a tenacity for noticing anomalies.
Understanding of client requirements and challenges in the context of content requirements.
Ability to steer and track initiatives from start to completion
Well-reasoned and data-driven proposals in both verbal and written form.
Experience working in business organizations, communicating with business owners as well as senior leaders, while handling multiple competing priorities.
An openness to different views and opinions and an appreciation for team diversity.
Proven experience in providing guidance and clear direction to global research or legal teams.
Experience leading teams, whether directly or indirectly, to collaboratively deliver business results.
