Job Description

Location: U.S. Remote

OPIS is hiring a Marketing Operations Manager to own the company’s marketing automation platform and related processes, including database and sales lead management, campaign attribution and accurate ROI reporting. This professional will work closely with sales teams to optimize Sales/Marketing alignment and ensure that marketing efforts generate leads of the highest quality possible. This key role will uncover critical insights to drive marketing strategy and improve marketing decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the marketing automation platform including lead workflows (scoring, routing and nurturing) and integrations with other platforms including the sales CRM instance

  • Manage prospect database growth, list management, list uploads and audience segmentation, performing regular data hygiene

  • Develop and maintain regular reporting on key marketing metrics, including program effectiveness and ROI impact

  • Design reporting dashboards where applicable

  • Analyze and interpret results of marketing campaigns and recommend areas for improvement and optimization

  • Collaborate with marketing directors and website manager to build forms for lead capture, and track each form’s lead generation performance

  • Act as the system administrator, maintaining licensing and permissions for the platform and training new marketers to use it efficiently.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on email marketing strategies and best practices

  • Evaluate new tools and add-on applications to improve marketing performance

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with GDPR and privacy requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing operations with an understanding of B2B marketing strategy

  • In-depth familiarity with leading marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Eloqua and/or Marketo preferred) and CRM systems (NetSuite and/or Salesforce preferred)

  • Excellent analytical skills and proven experience with reporting and data analysis

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • A high comfort level working with large sets of data

  • A strong interest in processes with a commitment to improving results

  • A curious and creative thinker who enjoys investigating and utilizing all available resources to solve business problems

  • Self-directed and capable of working independently without direct supervision

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and cultures across time zones and global locations

  • Experience with the energy industry is preferred but not required

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
