About the Role
The Finance team is responsible for global financial support in four key areas: Global Financial Operations (GFO), Financial Management Accounting (FMA), Tax and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). The team covers everything from back-office functions like payroll and customer billing to tax compliance and budget forecasting. You will be a reporting compliance analyst within the Subscription/Commercial Policy Team in FP&A. Principal responsibilities are compiling, reviewing and reporting of Alliance for Audited Media/Business Publication Audit (AAM/BPA) circulation volumes plus reporting of the same for the quarterly Dow Jones Sales & Subscription Reporting through PwC for specified publications and products. You will be based in our Princeton, New Jersey office reporting to the Director of FP&A, Circ Audit Compliance.
You Will:
Generate timely and accurate reporting of print/digital circulation volumes for select Dow Jones publications and the New York Post.
Maintain deep understanding of AAM/BPA/PwC Reporting Rules/Standards and by-laws.
Execute annual and quarterly audits/reviews through AAM/BPA/PwC.
Respond to ad hoc requests for circulation statistics.
Develop ongoing reporting capabilities to meet system changes and reporting requirements.
You Have:
Working knowledge of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and Word.
The ability to multi-task and coordinate requirements with other finance/marketing/ operations teams.
The ability to meet deadlines/task timelines.
Familiarity with AAM/BPA Rules and PwC Methodology or other circulation/subscription reporting framework (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to apply compliance rules to real-life situations.
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly along with embracing change.
Ability to work with all levels within the organization and across disciplines.
