The position is responsible for achieving sales quotas for all assigned Base Chemical products and services with dual responsibility for group sales for large Chemical events. Previous experience selling subscription-based services as well as Event group sales. Candidate will be paid a base salary and earn commission for achieving sales goals.
General Job Duties:
o Achieve specific monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota.
o Exceed metrics assigned for cold and warm calling activities for both customer base and group
o Utilize relationships with assigned customers to ensure long term partnerships with events.
o Maintain existing client base as well as up-sell to existing customers.
o Generate forecasts of sales performance as required.
o Generate pipeline for a rolling 120 days
o Provide forecast and metric updates to Event program management team
o Qualify inbound leads (calls, emails, web form fills) within standard SLA
o Cold Calls - Generating Leads for event group sales
o Ability to operate within a fast-paced working environment to meet the needs of internal and
o Comfort and conﬁdence with cold calling.
o Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
o 5+ years B2B sales experience, preferably in the petrochemical industry
o Extensive proven track record in telephone sales/customer care
o Proven track record of group sales/event sales
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Ability to utilize CRM systems
o English (verbal and written) proficiency required
o Working knowledge of Excel and Word
o Cold Calling Skills
