Reporting to the Global Head of Sales Enablement, with a dotted line into the Executive Director, Sales Strategy, APAC, the Sales Enablement Manager, APAC is responsible for equipping the sales team with the tools, resources, and training needed to effectively engage with customers, drive revenue growth, and achieve sales goals. This role involves developing and executing strategic initiatives that enhance the productivity and efficiency of the sales team across regions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with APAC and global sales leadership to identify key needs and develop enablement programs to improve sales performance and productivity.
Design and implement training programs and workshops to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and effective sales techniques.
In conjunction with Global Sales Enablement, develop and maintain sales playbooks, process documentation, and other resources that support the APAC sales team in driving customer engagement and closing deals.
Work closely with product, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the sales team is well-equipped with up-to-date product information, competitive insights, and market trends.
Collaborate in the development of onboarding programs for new sales team members to ensure quick ramp-up and integration into the team.
Create and manage a library of sales content, including case studies, presentations, white papers, and proposal templates, to support various stages of the sales cycle.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of enablement programs by analyzing key performance indicators such as sales productivity, win rates, and time to sale
Provide regular coaching and feedback to sales team members to improve skills and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
Help organize and facilitate sales meetings, town halls, and other events to keep the sales team informed and motivated.
Collaborate with sales operations to optimize sales tools and technologies, ensuring the team has access to the best resources for success.
Support regional sales teams with tailored enablement activities, including localized content and training.
Requirements
Proven experience in a sales enablement, sales operations, or a similar role in a B2B environment.
Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, actionable insights.
Experience developing and delivering training programs and content that enhance sales effectiveness.
Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to address gaps and opportunities.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments, including sales, product, marketing, customer insights, and operations teams.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with sales tools and technologies such as CRM systems, sales engagement platforms, and content management systems.
Proficient in Google Suite, primarily Slides and Sheets.
A creative thinker with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong sense of accountability and results orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
Seven years experience in a similar role.
Experience in enterprise B2B sales or a content or technology-related field.
Background in adult learning, instructional design, or coaching is a plus.
Experience working with global teams, including specifically APAC regions.
Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese would be an advantage.
