Dow Jones is looking for a Manager to join our R&C Managed Services team responsible for performing AML risk-based review and analysis on individual and business accounts who match with Dow Jones Sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons and Adverse Media lists and adjudicate alerts accordingly for further review. As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Data Analysts. You will work closely with your peers and your team of Transaction Monitoring Analysts, ensuring we meet our client requirements in terms of accuracy and timeliness. You will report to the Associate Director, R&C Managed Services.
This role requires individuals to work at the Dow Jones’ client’s onsite premise.
Interpret and observe data sets with an aim to develop business performance and meet project targets.
Streamline processes by identifying trends and patterns.
Hire, train, motivate and coach employees to provide attentive, efficient service to customers while achieving project deadlines.
Lead and develop a team of data analysts in a collaborative environment, with an aim to enable and encourage optimum performance of its people and available resources.
Ensure timely delivery of projects in accordance with client agreement.
Ensure that the team members strictly adhere to the Dow Jones’ and client’s policies & procedures.
Contribute to both team and product-initiated projects
Excellent English writing skills
A professional attitude in client facing environments when working on-site at client offices
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with senior management as well as team members and peer groups
Ability to work in a high pressure environment with strict tight deadlines
Ability to analyse large datasets
An openness to different views and opinions and an appreciation for team diversity
Previous experience in AML Transaction Monitoring in a banking environment
Previous experience with Factiva, Dow Jones Risk and Compliance (or similar products)
