Dow Jones is looking for a Director of Content Strategists for Factiva, our proprietary news aggregator. This role will provide strategic support across all Factiva teams including product, sales, marketing and Data Strategy. You will provide strategic, non-delivery, future thinking. You will manage a small team.
The Director of Content Strategists reports to the VP, Factiva Content.
Mentor and develop direct reports.
Develop and support a content strategy based on the objectives of relevant Product and Data Strategy teams and customer needs.
Where relevant, represent Factiva at Dow Jones, client, industry and partner events, promoting our quality content, processes and teams.
Support Sales, Technology and Product (General Manager, Market Specialists, and Product Strategy), promoting the content in calls, meetings and on-site visits.
Conduct stakeholder interviews and leverage industry insights to inform content strategies.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders across the organisation, including relevant executive level documentation.
Along with the rest of your team, inform and educate Data Strategy teams regarding your specialist area.
A deep knowledge of Factiva content, its functionalities and its importance to Dow Jones customers.
A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role managing relevant B2B-related content, including experience working with Sales & Technology
Proven ability to bring creative solutions to market.
The ability to quickly understand business needs and translate them into actionable steps.
The ability to distill and prioritize tasks as well as get buy-in on both of those aspects from multiple internal and external stakeholders.
The capability to argue your own ideas as well as conceptualize on others’ ideas, diving into detail when necessary.
The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of global audiences in writing and speech.
Experience working and communicating effectively with business owners, senior leaders and colleagues up and down the organizational ladder.
An openness to different views and opinions and an appreciation for team diversity.
