Job summary:

As a Contract Coordinator on the B2B Sales Operations team, your role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of Salesforce Opportunity data. You will be responsible for proactively monitoring Salesforce reports, verifying certain aspects of the opportunities with Sales to ensure that they are later able to create contracts that correctly reflect what is actually being sold. You will collaborate closely with Regional Sales Coordinators to optimize downstream operations and elevate overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitor Opportunity Reports in Salesforce, verifying specific aspects of each opportunity and liaising with Sales where necessary. Key items include, but are not limited to:- Opportunity Type- Product/Service accuracy, based on fundamental rules and existing contract, if applicable- Contract Management System fields: Effective date, contract term and end date, payment terms, renewal terms

  • Provide guidance, and Contract Management System specific tips, to Sales when they are ready to create the initial contract.

  • Provide guidance to Sales if they receive the initial contract back from the client and edits are required.

  • Provide a summary of the deal, based on the opportunity, to Sales in order to sense check the accuracy of the opportunity.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Escalate particularly difficult or unusual situations to the Regional Sales Coordinators.

  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Sales Operations manager, which may include but are not limited to:- Assisting with special projects- Collaborating with other departments on cross-functional initiatives- Any other tasks deemed necessary to support the smooth operation of the department or organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce or CRM systems.

  • Experience with Contract Management Systems a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including Sales and Regional Sales Coordinators. Your contributions will be critical in ensuring the accuracy of forecasting and contract management processes within the organization.
