Join the People Operations team as a key member responsible for delivering global services, high-touch solutions and consultation across News Corp entities.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understands and has practical knowledge of talent management processes including recruitment onboard, career progression, performance management, talent and succession planning and related data and reporting needs associated with these processes.
Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather requirements for requested Workday enhancements
Support the configuration of the Talent, Succession Planning, and Recruiting modules for the News Corp Shared Service team
Recommend Workday technical solutions taking into account priorities and tradeoffs and drive alignment among stakeholders
Manage implementation/enhancement projects, build and execute detailed implementation plans, including design, QA/test, deploy, communications / training and support components
Lead functional analysts to troubleshoot and resolve Workday issues; escalate issues with application management support (AMS) partners
Provide support to HR teams by analyzing user issues and resolving them via technical solution and/or process re-engineering
Enforce the system migration procedures in compliance with SOX change control policies
Assist the department to maintain proper internal controls for SOX Compliance
Identify opportunities to enhance Workday via the semi-annual release
Lead the change management efforts on new implementations
Consult with business and process owners to understand the business case for development requests, process improvements, new interfaces, and enhancements
Collaborate with other People Ops team members to create and maintain requirement documents and test plans for the various People Operations enhancements
Build relationships with People team stakeholders to understand business needs and translate these into system and reporting requirements
Provide transaction support to the global People team and Payroll team by analyzing user issues and resolving them via proper training
3-5+ years of Workday configuration experience
3-5+ years of functional areas in Talent Management including Career Progression, Talent & Succession Planning, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management
Deep understanding of the latest trends in the talent management, recruiting and HR technology landscapes
Management experience, a plus
Demonstrated track record of effective communication with technical and business leaders at all levels within large enterprises
Prior Workday support and/or Human Capital consulting experience preferred
Functional HR experience in recruiting, talent management or learning and development, a plus
Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
