Full Time Sr Analyst role to support the vendor on-boarding process for all the NewsCorp companies across the globe. Currently there is a system in place, and workflows for each company built – the successful candidate will manage this process, help the various companies with issues related to on-boarding from vendors as well as any changes to workflows, reporting and other trouble shooting tasks. This role will report to the Manager/System Administrator, in the Princeton, NJ location.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist with implementing business processes
Assist with maintaining business processes
As new companies come into NewsCorp, assist in flushing out workflow
Assist with initial compliance “hits”; performing legwork and providing feedback
Follow up on outstanding open items from various departments to bring issues to closure
Travel to NY office on occasion with advance notice
Daily tasks would include:
New/existing user set ups – troubleshoot
System issue trouble shoot
Vendor contact updates
Excellent organizational skills
Detail oriented and ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to be resourceful in research
5 years in help desk support environment preferred
Strong technical and customers service skills
Ability to identify and resolve system issues, with ability to escalate
Ability to identify errors and address appropriately
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio)
Quick learner, adapt to changing process and procedures in a timely manner
Prior experience with a workflow system is a plus
