Dow Jones Senior Program Manager, Marketing Data Platforms in PRINCETON, New Jersey

Job Description:

The Customer Data team is seeking a Senior Program Manager to manage, execute and support automated email campaigns to drive engagement and retention for Dow Jones' Professional Membership products, Professional Information Business, and Live Journalism support. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing Data Platforms, in the Customer Data SET group, you will work closely with the internal marketing teams to create targeted segments, build triggered campaigns, and analyze campaign performance. In addition, the Senior Program Manager will manage the B2B data, segmentation, app integrations and data compliance.

You Will:

  • Manageme the marketing campaign execution process and platform in support of Dow Jones’ Professional Membership products, Professional Information Business and events, including but not limited to: gathering requests and requirements for all outgoing campaigns; analyzing requirements for campaign execution; maintaining a monthly queue of requests; quality assurance of campaigns; executing and launching final product

  • Manage databases containing customer and prospect data. Create strategy for data management, segmentation, normalization, and cleansing. Maintain data and compliance regulations between platforms and campaigns.

  • Drive vision for campaign systems, databases and measurement.

  • Manage app integrations between marketing, webinar and nurture platforms within Oracle Eloqua.

  • Prepare coded emails for deployment, including but not limited to: basic email HTML knowledge, updating or editing existing HTML; solving for rendering issues across multiple email clients.

  • Target list segmentation for campaign outreach, including but not limited to: analyzing list requests to filter data; utilizing provided lists from teams; applying appropriate suppressions.

  • Develop campaign canvases for deployment and execution via Oracle Eloqua.

  • Enforce legal, privacy and compliance regulations related to data management and email deployment.

  • Track, measure and report against all goals and KPIs. Creation and analysis of campaign reports via Oracle Eloqua and Tableau for presentation to internal stakeholders.

  • Provide constructive data-driven feedback to Marketing on campaign effectiveness and areas for optimization.

  • Provide leadership to internal and external teams by setting clear expectations and direction, delegating tasks and fostering collaboration across business units

You Have:

  • 5+ years experience in marketing, marketing automation or operations preferred

  • Experience managing a team

  • Understanding of CRM management and data manipulation required

  • Proficient knowledge of HTML, specific to email, is required

  • Attention to detail and proficient QA abilities is required

  • Email vendor experience is a plus (Such as Oracle Eloqua or Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

  • Quick problem solving skills to address roadblocks and production issues required

  • High comfort level with data management and analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of product/event marketing and campaign management strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of SQL strongly preferred

  • Event Management Operations experience is a plus (Such as Cvent, Certain)

  • Project management skills to collect, analyze and implement all requirements within tight timelines preferred

  • Analytical mindset, analytics and reporting experience a plus

  • Knowledge of Tableau or BI tools preferred
