About the Role
The Senior Analyst, Financial Management & Analysis (FMA), Accounting will assist with the month-end closing of the income statement and balance sheet. You will report to a Manager, FMA, Accounting and will be based in our Princeton, NJ office with a hybrid work arrangement.
You Will:
Income Statement:
Complete journal entries for monthly accruals and re-classes of expenses.
Work with the business and the Financial Planning and Analysis team to prepare monthly variances to budget and prior year for the current period, quarter, and year to date.
Participate in monthly closing meetings to discuss variances and ensure that the results are complete.
Conduct ad hoc analyses.
Balance Sheet:
Complete monthly reconciliations for select balance sheet accounts including investigation of any differences.
Partner with other departments to provide insight into remaining balances.
Participate in the monthly balance sheet closing review to ensure that the reconciliations are complete and accurate.

You Have:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
Experience successfully managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
Experience with a general ledger system.
Proficiency with Excel (must be able to maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, and PowerPoint.
Analytical skills with a strong desire to learn.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to embrace change.
SAP and Analytics for Office (Preferred).
Public Accounting experience (Preferred).
3+ years of accounting experience (Preferred).
