Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
Journal entries for monthly accruals and re-classes of expense.
Work with the business and the Financial Planning and Analysis team to prepare monthly variances to budget and prior year for the current period, quarter and year to date.
Ad hoc analyses as needed.
Participation in monthly closing meetings to discuss variances and ensure that the results are complete.
Complete monthly reconciliations for select balance sheet accounts including investigation of any differences.
Liaise with other departments in order to provide insight into remaining balances.
Participation in monthly balance sheet closing review to ensure that the reconciliations are complete and accurate.
Provide cash flow support for various balance sheet accounts, as part of the monthly cash flow forecasting process.
Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required. A public accounting background, CPA or CMA is a plus.
3 to 4 years relevant experience.
SAP S4/HANA financial system experience is highly preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office application suite.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills required.
Role also includes special projects to support management. Skills needed would include analytical, communication, the ability to embrace change, and a strong desire to learn.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
