The QA Analyst will carry out a variety of functions that ensure the proper collection of customer data to support key customer lifecycle activities such as billing, price increases, and customer communications. This position is responsible for testing customer facing promotions created for the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Marketwatch, and Professional Memberships. This position is also responsible for supporting all front end web page development by creating test cases and performing user acceptance testing on all new functionality.
Work with the Offer Managers on the team to understand the process for creating new acquisition promotions
Work with key Marketing stakeholders and Business Analysts during Requirement Analysis
Create and manage a test framework for validating the customer experience during and post subscription process
Create and maintain clear and concise documentation around test plans, test results, schedules, milestones and deliverables
Work with cross-functional development team to understand how they are building out functionality and the systems that are impacted
Design positive and negative test cases for validating the customer experience prior to each technical release
Support each technical release and perform validation on the functionality - pre and post release
Prepare and deliver reports and recommendations that address existing and potential areas of improvement within the QA process
Effectively communicate quality issues and recommendations to improve quality to Program Director and stakeholders
3+ years of experience working in a marketing function.
Knowledge of the ecommerce, direct to consumer space
Experience in test case creation, execution, and documentation
Project management skills to adequately plan testing around key release dates
Experience using JIRA and Google Suite Products
Attention to detail and proficient quality assurance abilities
Knowledge of direct marketing desired
Knowledge of technical infrastructure, technology testing and databases a plus
Knowledge of Agile processes a plus
Publishing industry experience a plus
