The Training, Culture and Community function of the People team seeks an exceptional DEI Program Manager to primarily serve as liaison and lead resource to Dow Jones Inclusive Resource Groups (IRGs).They also will lead or facilitate training for IRG leaders and corporate executive sponsors, as well as maintain organizational tools, governance documents and communications. The incumbent will also be a strong contributor on matters related to DEI for company onboarding, retention and outreach programs to promote inclusivity. This role is part of our DEI culture pillar, which works to advance our values of trust, collaboration, impact and excellence at Dow Jones.
Location: New York City or Princeton, NJ (open to remote work)
Help give direction to IRG leaders to establish structure of groups and cadence of meetings.
Help communicate the objectives and the mission of IRGs internally.
Facilitate nominations and selections of executive sponsors.
Support IRG activities as needed to ensure diversity and inclusion opportunities are well-incorporated.
Help plan an annual kickoff meeting of IRGs, coordinating orientation for new and returning IRG leaders and executive sponsors.
Coordinate and oversee recognitions for various Heritage Month celebrations
Carry out other related responsibilities as needed and assigned the Culture, Training & Outreach.
