Job Description:
Campaign Specialist, Marketing Data Solutions
The Campaign Specialist will coordinate intake and organize data requirements across marketing campaigns and reports. This person will translate the business requirements into data requirements to properly build omni-channel marketing campaigns via ActionIQ to achieve stakeholders’ KPIs.
A successful candidate will be familiar with campaign operations with a focus on data analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate our Enterprise Customer Data Platform, ActionIQ, to build audience logic and attributes, QA campaigns, and activate omni-channel marketing campaigns
Become subject matter expert in Dow Jones’ consumer data
Serve as a liaison between the Marketing and Data teams, translating business requests into data requirements
Develop business logic to enable the creation of audience segments, automated email journeys and personalization in support of Consumer Marketing campaigns
Meet with the various marketing teams to review campaign requirements, reporting requirements, and build the finalized data variables and data files
Work closely with the Channel team on the implementation and ongoing performance of all automated omni-channel journeys
Assist in A/B test plan design to assure they are set up to attain actionable learnings as well as measuring performance of tests and campaigns
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year in a data focused CRM, Segmentation, Marketing Operations or data analyst role with hands on experience building audiences within Customer Data Platforms (experience with ActionIQ is a plus)
SQL coding knowledge
Ability to deep dive into metrics and data, whether it’s to diagnose a problem, evaluate a solution or propose a new KPI
Experience using analytical tools
Detail oriented, ability to manage multiple projects from different stakeholders, and good understanding of digital marketing.
SAS experience a plus
Proven track record of improving business performance through data mining, analytics, and visualization required
Knowledge and ability to become expert in best practices for segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, and reporting
Passion for data is a must
Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to present campaign performance to stakeholders
