Position Summary

The Marketing Associate supports the marketing team in developing and executing integrated campaigns to deliver on brand and event marketing strategies for WSJ Professional Membership

We are looking for an organized marketing associate to join our team. The Marketing Associate will be able to analyze marketing data and metrics. The candidate will work and conduct research on special marketing projects identified by the Marketing Director. The Marketing Associate will support Marketing Managers with execution and implementation of marketing campaigns and daily administrative tasks. The candidate will have strong social media application knowledge, Excel and PowerPoint skills to create reports for various projects

What the Marketing Associate Does:

  • Assist Marketing Managers with the execution and implementation of campaigns by ensuring all deliverables are on track for completion according to deadlines, and creative is in adherence to campaign objectives and brand guidelines

  • Generate reports, maintain and update records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns

  • Assist in setting brand standards, mission, and goals

  • Have strong social media application knowledge

  • Manage the workflow for creation, production and delivery of marketing materials. Work with internal departments and external agencies, draft creative briefs, provide creative feedback and manage approvals.

  • Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly

  • Assist with organizing promotional events

  • Coordinate with the Marketing Design and Content teams to create advertising material

  • Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns

Associate Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or statistics or relevant field preferred

3+ years’ previous experience as a marketing associate, marketing assistant, or related position

Solid computer skills, including MS Excel, web analytics and Google Adwords

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude

Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions

Knowledge of marketing digital tools and techniques
