About the Role:
As Vice President (VP) of New Business Initiatives, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact business initiatives that drive the company's growth, innovation, and competitive advantage.
This role combines a strong business acumen with a forward-thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work across functions to cultivate new opportunities, form strategic enterprise partnerships, and incubate emerging business ventures.
Reporting into the SVP of Strategy, the VP will lead a team focused on exploring new markets, forging critical alliances, and driving the business forward through creative and sustainable growth strategies.
You will work in our midtown Manhattan office 5 days a week.
You Will:
Develop P&L, business cases and strategic plans for new business opportunities, including new markets, product lines, and revenue models in tandem with CEO priorities:
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to assess the viability of new business ventures and emerging market trends.
Leverage data and industry insights to identify high-potential opportunities and evaluate their risk-reward balance.
Oversee pilot programs, new product development, or market-entry strategies for emerging business opportunities.
Monitor performance metrics and KPIs for strategic initiatives, providing regular updates and recommendations to the executive team.
Facilitate enterprise revenue opportunities:
Establish and oversee a structured framework to track, analyze, and report on the progress of enterprise-wide revenue initiatives as identified by CEO activities.
Act as a strategic liaison between the executive office and internal teams, ensuring seamless alignment, execution, and timely follow-through on key initiatives.
Facilitate executive engagement with key enterprise customers and strategic partners, driving effective relationship management and value optimization.
Integrate new businesses:
Oversee and manage the seamless integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, along with the People Team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to harmonize operations, culture, and systems.
Partner with FP&A to define key success metrics and track financial and operational performance post-integration.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with integration to maximize long-term value.
You Have:
The willingness and ability to work on-site in our midtown Manhattan office 5 days a week
15+ years of relevant experience
Proven track record of leading teams, developing strategic partnerships, and driving growth in a company.
Understanding of business functions such as marketing, finance, operations, and product development with experience effectively collaborating with these and other departments.
Experience developing and implementing long-term strategies for business growth and market positioning.
