The role of Sponsorship Marketing Coordinator, Live Journalism and Events, will support and own outcomes for key projects, internal and cross-functional initiatives in support of the Custom & Brand events team within Live Journalism.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Sponsorship Marketing, Live Journalism and Events, this role will advance the strategic initiatives of the Executive Connect program to enhance and support the Sales Sponsorship team. You will help to develop and manage the post-event sponsor deliverables as well as sponsor metrics reports.
Providing daily tracking and reporting on projects status is fundamental to ensure that deliverables are met and exceeded. A successful candidate is an excellent sponsorship coordinator and collaborator who demonstrates an appetite for attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and an inquisitive and resourceful approach to problem-solving. The role requires a high level of collaboration, coordination, attention to detail and the ability to multitask. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with colleagues in EMEA, APAC and the US - with some associated travel/out-of-hours work - as required.
Support the post-event sponsorship email program through email templates development and hands-on coordination with internal teams
Gather data, create analytical reports and data summaries for post-event sponsor emails
Liaise, coordinate and manage timely deployment of post-event sponsor emails
Maintain and keep the email schedule up-to-date
Support and ensure Executive Connect contracted deliverables are met and executed (virtual, hybrid & in-person events)
Attend sponsor meetings alongside Associate Director of Sponsorship Marketing
Create the platform-onboarding documents for Executive Connect clients
Prepare briefing documents for Executive Connect clients prior to their meetings
Create clear, concise and powerful PowerPoint presentations
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, such as marketing, programming and events teams where applicable
2-3 years experience in the events industry
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
Attention to details
Basic knowledge of email marketing software
Basic knowledge of photo and image editing software
Superb command of PowerPoint presentation
High energy, self-motivated and independent minded
