We are looking for a Senior People Business Advisor to work as a partner and consultant to our global business units. Senior Advisors endeavor to understand the evolving needs of the business unit and its employees. Through collaboration with the People team's Center of Experts and People team leadership, Advisors ensure the workforce is fit for purpose. Reporting to the Associate Director/Director, People Advisors, you will help develop team effectiveness and optimize ways of working.
The Senior Advisor is a mid-level individual contributor embedded in specific business sectors who understands the skills, talents and abilities needed to execute on the strategy. You will help provide a consultative experience that aligns with business needs and strategy of the unit, as well as initiatives that support enterprise activities.
Partner with managers and other People practitioners on strategic initiatives, organization development, evolution management, and complex employee issues to strengthen overall organizational effectiveness globally.
Create partnerships, leveraging the strengths of our Centers of Excellence to ensure full service support to the business units.
Support HR Advisors activities during annual cyclical activities including compensation and performance reviews
Cultivate the internal culture, values, mission and vision
Awareness of tools and insights from our Community of Experts to help develop the workforce and build careers.
Ensure that company procedures are equitably applied and local legal requirements are met.
Request, gather and compile reports and analyse trends to measure the effectiveness of human capital practices and use this information in decision-making
Work with multiple constituents and drive positive changes in a collaborative, convincing manner and manage client expectations.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field like Human Resources or Organizational Development.
SHRM-SCP, SPHR or similar HR certification preferred
5 years HR management experience
Expertise in federal and state labor law and regulations & managing of labor relations, including contract negotiations, handling grievances and arbitrations, and contract interpretation
Experience with HR data collection and reporting requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including collaboration, coaching and counseling skills.
