The Professional Information Business (PIB) at Dow Jones plays a critical role in the delivery of key B2B products in order to be the power behind global businesses. We are a truly global business with a significant proportion of our customer base coming from outside the US. We provide information, data and analytics to help support and drive our customers key business decisions, and protect their organizations from risk. The PIB business is broken into two customer focused verticals to solve for user solutions: News & Insight and Risk & Compliance. These business units are continually looking to develop innovative new products that will further serve our customer needs.
The News & Insights team, who this role would be a member of, is committed to making our data smarter and more valuable, allowing our customers to make better decisions.
The Product Analyst is responsible for coordinating our product roadmaps, customer feedback and acting as the liaison with partners on key projects. They will also work with all internal teams around the data requirements for our products.
Using project management skills, this role will also be responsible for tracking the performance of the products within their portfolio and broader department initiatives.
Overall project management. Tracking dates, KPIs, Pipeline, Deliverables, etc.
Working with the Newsroom and other internal teams on incorporating customer feedback.
Assisting the business with requirements for new products or enhancements and ensuring design, scope and delivery timescales are in line with this.
Working with Market Specialists to understand the changing customer landscape and how that should influence the development of our product roadmap.
Providing the business with the documentation, tools and training necessary to increase sales and customer satisfaction/retention.
Monitoring the usage of products within a portfolio; identifying and delivering strategies to drive engagement and usage.
This is an entry level role, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or related field is preferred.
Experience with Powerpoint, Word, Excel [or Google equivalent], Slack and Salesforce.
Demonstrates strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
Demonstrates excellent analytical, research, organizational and planning skills.
