Dow Jones PIB Marketing Manager in NEW YORK, New York

Job Description:

Dow Jones’ Professional Information Business (PIB) marketing team is growing rapidly and is actively seeking highly motivated and passionate people for several open roles.

PIB powers businesses, governments and financial institutions with award-winning journalism, robust data sets, a rich archive of premium content and flexible information tools.

We’re looking for a highly organized self-starter with strong communication skills and the drive to generate awareness, audience engagement and leads to nurture pipeline for our B2B business.

In this Marketing Manager role, you’ll support the Dow Jones Newswires and Factiva business lines with the development and execution of high-impact marketing plans as part of the global marketing strategy. You will be responsible for multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, advertising, social, events and other tactics. Your knowledge of audience segmentation will support your rich understanding of B2B marketing levers for achieving marketing goals and objectives.

You will report to the Executive Director of Marketing for Dow Jones Newswires and Factiva, and will also engage in deep collaboration across the PIB Marketing, Business and Sales teams.

About The Role

  • Create, manage and execute Factiva and Dow Jones Newswires marketing plans

  • Manage campaign execution across cross-functional teams

  • Track and monitor marketing budget

  • Develop content, including thought leadership white papers, for distribution across channels and platforms

  • Assist with coordinating content, speakers and sponsorships at Dow Jones and industry events, as well as pre- and post-event promotions

  • Become a knowledgeable resource for Dow Jones Newswires and Factiva solutions

  • Compile regular reports on marketing programs and campaign metrics

What You’ll Bring

  • Ideally 3-5 years of relevant experience; B2B experience essential

  • Extensive written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to multitask, prioritize and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience managing marketing budgets

  • Experience using marketing technology such as Highspot, Eloqua, Terminus and Uberflip.
