Dow Jones Operations Manager, Business Development in NEW YORK, New York

Job Description:

As a member of the Partnerships Operations Team, this position manages the day-to-day relationship with potential and current partners, assisting the VP, Partnership Operations. This position will be the VP’s right-hand, working with partners and internal business teams to ensure that projects are delivered on-time. This position will also ensure meetings are scheduled, updates are communicated and key issues are addressed.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of new partnership opportunities to ensure an on-time delivery of services to scope, quality and partner satisfaction.

  • Track and report project progress including timeline for key dependencies and milestones to hold project stakeholder teams accountable.

  • Create and maintain documentation including project plans and executive updates.

  • Assess, communicate, and mitigate risk while creating contingency plans and managing through issue resolution.

  • Create and deliver operational and executive updates

  • Determine, track, and report on KPIs relevant to each partner.

  • Plan, conduct and follow through on Quarterly Business Reviews and related action items.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years working for/with (a) a subscription-driven business and (b) with large tech platforms

  • Project management experience and proficiency with project management tools is a must.

  • Understanding of budgeting for complex projects, including basic acquaintance of capital accounting.

  • Ability to create impactful, visually-stimulating presentations at both operational and executive audiences.
