Member Relationship Manager, CEO Council
This role is part of the WSJ Professional Membership team, which is responsible for recruiting and retaining members of the world’s foremost influential business memberships. We equip ambitious professionals with the essential intelligence and tools they need to better lead their industries, grow their businesses and advance their careers. We provide a highly specialized service that builds on the power of our journalism, the insight of our analysis, the ambition of our audience and the continuity of community.
Position Statement:
The Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council membership provides networking, events and specialized content designed exclusively for the most influential global CEOs. The Member Relationship Manager is responsible for engagement and retention of our members throughout the year, the connective tissue between events, and the main contact with our member’s offices.
Role and Responsibilities:
Onboard members by working closely with their office to ensure they are set up to harness the full value of the membership - procure their bio and headshot, get upcoming events on their calendars, set up their gift subscriptions and set up an intro with the Network Director for the member
Ensure members come to an event once per quarter and that their offices give feedback on the experience and any member needs
Maintain consistent engagement to make the renewal a given
Ensure smooth continuation of the membership from year to year, working with member offices on billing and answering any questions
Act as the concierge for the membership, providing stellar service to our member’s offices
Establish and maintain a close working relationship with member offices
Experience
5+ years business to professional sales
Successful sales track record in hitting/exceeding targets
Skills
