Dow Jones Marketing Manager, Sales Enablement (Student Memberships) in NEW YORK, New York

Job Description:

Dow Jones is seeking an experienced Sales Enablement Manager to help drive our Education & students business at The WSJ. The role will report into the Marketing Director, Education & Students.

The candidate will manage the sales enablement process from start to finish including the development of metrics to gauge the effectiveness of enablement process.

  • Conduct industry and competitive research

  • Develop pitch materials, presentations and other sales collateral

  • Needs to have strong experience with Salesforce.com

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Pardot, Eloqua, etc)

  • Lead the implementation of the marketing automation platform

  • Generate leads and lead nurturing strategies for the sales team to decrease sales cycle timing

  • Ability to build a sales learning and development strategy

  • Conference and events experience a plus

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years experience working in sales enablement, delivering successful leads and collateral to high performing sales team.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A minimum of three years experience working in sales enablement, with a focus on briefing, executing and monitoring campaigns to drive the pipeline

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the business

  • An interest in media, particularly in emerging technologies and trends in the marketing industry

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Confident presenter

  • Creative thinker, ability to provide feedback to agencies to produce work in line with an agreed brief and objectives.

  • Strong negotiation, relationship building and influencing skills

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage workload effectively in a fast paced environment
