Title: Marketing Director, Risk & Compliance
Reporting to: Head of Marketing PIB, Dow Jones.
Location: London, United Kingdom/ New York City
Lead development and execution of the global marketing strategy for the Risk & Compliance business as part of the Professional Information Business marketing team. Support Dow Jones corporate initiatives and strategic management of the master Dow Jones brand, which brings together world-leading data, media, membership and intelligence solutions to power the most ambitious companies and professionals.
Working in tandem with the Risk & Compliance business unit, create marketing plans and implement strategies by activating teams across the business (tech, product, customer insights, and other extensions of the marketing team including lead generation, sales training and enablement, comms and events) to drive robust retention and accelerated growth, supported by a data-centric philosophy and a commitment to measured ROI. Achieve the highest degree of impact possible out of all five stages of the lean marketing funnel: awareness, acquisition, activation, retention and revenue.
In close collaboration with the R&C General Manager and Market Specialist team, as well as key stakeholders on the sales and sales marketing team, maintain a deep understanding of priority audience segments, new products to take to market and revenue targets, as well as any other critical business initiatives. Overriding objectives are to generate high-quality leads resulting in documented sales opportunities, drive demand and awareness in the marketplace as the owner and champion of the Risk & Compliance brand, support strategic R&C partner relationships to leverage additional streams of revenue and lead gen, and identify opportunities for collaboration and co-marketing across the whole of Dow Jones' professional information offerings (including consumer brands).
Serve as the primary marketing resource for the sales and business functions across all Professional Information Business units globally.
What are my responsibilities?
Core responsibilities include identifying activities to achieve the following strategic pillars for the business unit and to align with master business objectives as defined by the R&C General Manager:
Lead & Demand Generation

Awareness and Brand Alignment
Engagement & Retention
Also, lead the global Risk & Compliance marketing team in leveraging the below tactics and other innovative methods to execute on defined marketing strategies:
Segmentation, messaging and value proposition development
Sales & media campaigns
Advertising campaign development, liaising with our agency partners.
Hosted & sponsored events / webinars
Sales enablement, training & excitement initiatives
Content development & strategy
Partner marketing programs
Communicate plans, progress and results to key stakeholders and business leadership to ensure 1) alignment of marketing activities with sales revenue targets and 2) meaningful contribution to the performance of the wider Risk & Compliance P&L.
