About the Role:
The Dow Jones Human Resources team is currently seeking a collaborative, organized and strategic thinking individual to manage our HR websites & learning platform. The ideal candidate will have experience working through all stages of managing a website from information gathering, planning, design, content assembly, development, testing, and maintenance. In addition, the candidate should be proficient in platform management and content management across a variety of learning platform modalities.
Reports to: VP, Strategic Initiatives
Location: New York City or Remote
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Manage, design and drive our internal People team website also known as the HR Hub and our People Team Microsite.
Work closely with design and development teams to execute against site roadmaps, upload and update content, oversee site maintenance, and influence site optimizations
Partner with Communications team to lead and project manage development of the HR components of our new company wide intranet site
Coordinate internal cross-functional teams including but not limited to HRIT, design, and marketing to drive site launch, updates, and improvements
Edit supporting material/media (audio, video, presentations, etc) for our various sites
Manage the Learning Management System end to end from an administration perspective including adding sessions, waitlists, reporting, and playlists
Provide technical expertise for virtual learning and conversion of existing Instructor-Led programs for Virtual Instruction
Stay abreast of UX trends, emerging digital technologies, approaches, and strategies
Knowledge/Experience:
5-8 years of demonstrated success as a web-based developer
Strong working knowledge of hardware and software for content and video /audio editing: Photoshop, Presenter, Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie and other video and audio editing tools
Demonstrated experience/skill using web conferencing, Google Hangouts, livestream, Zoom, screen-casting, and/or other multimedia applications
Ability to multi-task and work autonomously in fast-paced, changing environment
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong business acumen, written communication, and quantitative analytical skills
Strong knowledge of digital design principles, usability, and UX principles and branding best practices
Proficient in HTML/XML/CSS
Expertise with various content management systems (Wordpress, Unily, Google Sites)
Experience with learning management systems (Cornerstone preferred) and other graphics software or web-based training programs
Experience with website analytics and data tracking tool
Experience with SEO management and optimization
Experience with development, design and delivery of computer-, web-based or instructor-led training
Experience with course authoring software a plus (Captivate, Audacity, Camtasia, Kaltura, etc.)
BA/BS in a relevant field (e.g. multimedia design, website development, or related field), from an accredited college or university required
