The General Manager, E-Commerce will be responsible for defining and executing Dow Jones Strategy for eCommerce and creating a world-class digital shopping experience for its consumer brands globally including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and MarketWatch. Reporting to the Global Chief Revenue Officer, and serving as a member of the Revenue Leadership Team, the role will design, build and lead the eCommerce team and effort, including: digital product experience, content creation, and affiliate partnerships.

In this role, he/she will develop a holistic, growth strategy fueled by your deep commerce expertise to launch the commerce experience within 6 months of taking the role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Define a company-wide e-commerce strategy and build a platform enabling affiliate sales of both consumer and financial services products.
Utilize knowledge of establishing and operating an ecommerce business to execute strategies to further elevate our position globally.
Define and deliver on a three to five year business plan on Dow Jones ambitious growth.
Identify, hire and develop a full e-commerce team for scale.
Build cross-functional relationships with News/Content Brands, Brand General Managers, Advertising and Marketing teams to ensure alignment across ecommerce initiatives.
Collaborate with Wall Street Journal, Barron's and MarketWatch to develop product vision and strategy for consumer experience - balancing business needs with technology capabilities
Drive regional omnichannel strategy for all direct-to-consumer experiences, as well as all 3rd party ecommerce business (eg. wholesale partner experiences)
Develop the nascent Product Management function to drive strategy & consistency into all core ecommerce experiences
Manage the product teams to establish and execute on an effective, prioritized roadmap to deliver on key revenue driving initiatives
Provide regular communication to executive leadership on progress against financial plan
Integrate and build a cohesive, high-performing team to deliver Dow Jones’ growth goals
Research industry trends, leading the ecommerce team to test, learn, and capitalize on opportunities
Drive change by fostering a winning culture that elevates performance while driving teammate engagement
Makes data driven decisions while constantly testing and learning - provides post-launch ROI analysis, paired with consumer insights to make recommendations to increase sales and drive a premium experience
Shows visionary thinking and demonstrates expert knowledge to solve complex organization-wide issues

15+ years of relevant business leadership experience
8+ years of experience in commerce and affiliate marketing leadership
