This role works to drive revenue, marketing and operations for Barron’s Group events and premium products. The Executive Director, Brand Experiences would lead a team that is working with stakeholders and partners within Barron’s Group and across Dow Jones to help bring in new revenue opportunities, advertisers and audiences to the Barron’s Group brands (Barron’s MarketWatch, Financial News, Private Equity News, Mansion Global, and Barron’s Penta).
Working with the sales team to come up with sales packages and materials for Barron’s Group premium publications and events and helping them to bring the opportunities to clients.
Collaborating with sales on new product opportunities based on RFPs.
Facilitating the execution of sold opportunities to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Leading team members to create and execute strategic marketing plans to deliver on premium event audiences
Overseeing team members as they project manage premium events, collaborating with programing, editorial, production and marketing partners.
Working with the Dow Jones marketing team to create and lead marketing campaigns for the premium brands.
Driving and supporting revenue initiatives for the premium brands.
Managing partnership initiatives to help diversify audiences, grow the subscriber base and engage existing customers. This may include barter opportunities.
Supporting Barron’s Group franchise businesses and initiatives, including the Barron’s Wealth and Asset management business, Barron’s Level Up and C-suite/thought-leadership programs.
Minimum ten(10) years experience managing marketing campaigns for financial products or similar environment managing and driving revenue opportunities for premium brands
Demonstrated experience managing multiple brands
Experience managing a team with two or more direct reports
Understanding of event coordination and logistics
Prior experience working on brand marketing campaigns
Ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment
Understanding of how to manage and drive a P&L
Organized, team-oriented, entrepreneurial
General knowledge of how a newsroom works
Degree from a four year college or accredited university
