ABOUT THE ROLE
The WSJ Leadership Institute is looking to hire an Engagement Partner for our executive communities. This team is responsible for engaging and retaining the world's most influential business leaders as members and is dedicated to providing them timely insights, experiences, and analysis they can trust, along with peer connections, enabling them to make critical decisions that improve the lives of stakeholders they serve.
The Engagement Partner is a member relations specialist, providing concierge service and is the go-to point of contact for our community. They are integral to ensuring members have an elevated, bespoke, and valuable experience. They are key community builders and ensure the quality of the member journey and experience from onboarding through engagement to renewal.
The Engagement Partner will be accountable for engagement and retention goals, including hitting revenue goals associated with membership renewals.
Results will be driven by building relationships with members, soliciting their feedback / requests, doing research, and partnering with key internal stakeholders to develop membership offerings accordingly.
You Will:
Serve as the primary point of contact for WSJ Leadership Institute members (and their teams) across any membership needs or engagement
Responsible for the Relationship Management journey from onboarding, including the Member Profile, to renewals.
Onboard new members, including detailed Member Profile and formalized intake process for gathering comprehensive member data, bio, headshots, (onboarding and continuous feedback) and coordination of benefits.
Manage a full book of business, maintaining ongoing reporting and analysis on members, engagement, likelihood to renew and options for retention
Member Engagement: Execute best practice communication and engagement to maximize member attendance of upcoming events, summits, dinners, exchanges, breakouts, and exclusive experiences.
Curate cohorts for member-led events to meet with peers in confidence to discuss challenging topics they and their organization face
Attend membership events (in-person and online), welcoming members, and providing on-site assistance at registration.
Assist in connecting network members with each other providing introductions for professional contacts
Coordinate member opportunities for thought leadership
Monitor event activity and flag "unengaged" members for outreach
Owns renewal process, including payment processing
Garner members' thoughts on how to best improve and personalize their experience, both at the individual level and at events.
You Have:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience ideally managing relationships with, or serving products to, C-Suite Executives and other high-level stakeholders.
Ability to work closely with executive teams.
Exemplary verbal and written communication skills and customer relations skills.
Ability to attend a schedule of in-person events. Some travel may be required.
Ability to work in an event-management platform.
A proven track record of seeing ideas through to completion, utilizing exemplary execution skills.
Ability to work in a team structure.
