  • Developing and executing the end-to-end strategy for our domestic digital marketing campaigns, aimed at acquiring new subscribers for The Wall Street Journal within the U.S.

  • Managing and monitoring ongoing campaigns, working with internal media teams to ensure that campaigns goals are met — and pivoting strategy when goals are not being met.

  • Ensuring media budgets are delivering against business goals. This includes re-evaluating the media mix when business goals are not being met.

  • Providing post-campaign analysis — drawing on successes and failures, in order to identify tactics that are working to deliver on business goals.

  • Staying informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes and new technologies impacting digital marketing and digital distribution platforms (i.e. Facebook, Google, etc.).

  • Identify new opportunities to drive the business forward — i.e. new markets, emerging digital platforms, potential media partnerships, or uncovering general business efficiencies that increase revenue and profitability.

  • 3-5 years of relevant digital marketing experience — ideally within a results-driven role.

  • Experience working in paid media channels — paid search, social, display and affiliate. Experience marketing mobile applications through paid media channels is advantageous, but not necessary.

  • Proven success of running end-to-end marketing campaigns that encompass owned, earned and paid media properties.

  • ROI-driven, digital-centric capabilities with the ability to anticipate media consumption trends and emerging opportunities

  • Excellent planning, problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve challenges.

  • Impeccable time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage projects independently and see them through completion— requiring the need to appropriately prioritize tasks and projects in order to hit deadlines.

  • Strong initiation and self-motivated. Able to work well within a team — excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • (Advantageous but not required) Previous experience working in news or publishing, media organizations, or businesses focused on subscription revenue models.
