Working closely with the Guest Services Associate, the Conference Sales Associate will support and execute on the following responsibilities:
Understand the value proposition for each event and be able to develop an elevator pitch based on briefs for each conference;
Retain past attendees citing the new value proposition through phone and email communication;
Convert incoming inquiries into paid ticket sales;
Assist with complimentary ticket recruitment when needed;
Up-sell individual delegates into group bookings;
Up-sell vendor passes into exhibition packages;
Call abandoned carts to assist with registration and up-sell in the process;
Actively seek out opportunities for self-improvement, continually maintaining working knowledge of all company products, services and promotions;
Make independent decisions to resolve customer issues to further the sale and experience;
Onsite registration support – working onsite at our events to help facilitate the registration process, ensuring that members and guests have a first class and seamless experience.
