What Does the Membership Product Team Do?

We are a team of product managers who look after Dow Jones's important subscription experiences across our brands and platforms:

Membership Hub and Cancelation

We work with marketing, UX, data, design, and technology to identify customer needs and opportunities to maximize customer and business value. We then prioritize these items based on impact and effort, empower engineers to creatively develop the best solution, and launch these new experiences as controlled experiments to cleanly measure their impact on our customers and our business. Who is your manager?

VP, Membership Product.

You Will:

You will be a truth-seeking missile, scrappily hunting down data that might lead to solid experiment ideas. You will develop insights into hypotheses, user stories and mockups which you will prioritize based on scale, impact, effort, and strategic importance.

You will manage technical execution of development, launch, and monitoring while live. In partnership with data science, you will creatively, meticulously analyze the experiment results, slicing and dicing the data to look for value wherever it might hide, and then track the long-term impact on members. You will work with the primary teams to permanently implement successful insights.

What is specific to mobile apps?

You are the first product manager focusing on membership work in our apps. In partnership with the membership (marketing) team, you will be responsible for developing, scoping, and prioritizing the highest impact subscription-related plans we could focus on in the app. You'll define the quarterly roadmap, get alignment with our stakeholders, groom the work for our engineering partners, and cleanly measure success by launching these initiatives as clean experiments.

You Have:

1+ years of digital product experience.

Minimum education required: Bachelor's Degree.

Prior experience in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or another major analytics platform to gather, sort, analyze, and action data.

NYC Pay Range: $40,000 - $160,000
