Job Description:
The Associate Director, Growth Marketing will be responsible for growing and optimizing the customer acquisition marketing programs to drive new subscriber growth for Barron’s and MarketWatch.
This role will oversee a team of high performing growth marketers.
Responsibilities:
Developing and leading the end-to-end acquisition marketing strategy for our digital marketing campaigns.
Monitoring ongoing campaigns, working with paid media teams to ensure that campaigns goals are met — and pivoting strategy when goals are not being met.
Ensuring media budgets are delivering against business goals. This includes re-evaluating the media mix when business goals are not being met.
Reviewing post-campaign analysis — drawing on successes and failures, in order to identify and execute tactics that are working to deliver on business goals.
Identify new opportunities to drive the business forward — i.e. new markets, emerging digital platforms, potential media partnerships, or uncovering general business efficiencies that increase revenue and profitability.
Work collaboratively with paid media, product, news, ops and content marketing teams to come up with creative ways to drive acquisition.
Oversee the campaign calendar and partner closely with other departments and teams to identify and capitalize and align on marketing opportunities that arise with changing news cycles.
Manage monthly forecasting for subscription orders in conjunction with finance and the wider team.
Lead and develop the Acquisition marketing team for Barron’s and MarketWatch.
Requirements:
10+ years of relevant digital marketing experience within a results-driven role.
Experience working in Digital media channels — Search, Social media, Display and Programmatic. Experience marketing mobile applications through paid media channels is advantageous.
Proven success of running end-to-end acquisition marketing campaigns that encompass owned, earned and paid media properties.
ROI-driven, digital-centric capabilities with the ability to anticipate media consumption trends and emerging opportunities
Excellent planning, problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve challenges.
Ability to manage projects independently and see them through completion— requiring the need to appropriately prioritize tasks and projects in order to hit deadlines.
Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on creative metrics and KPIs for business goals, process improvement projects
