The Dow Jones AdTech team is looking for innovative thinkers who want to design & build new products and deploy the latest technologies for multimedia experiences across mobile apps, OTT devices and the web. Team members are effective communicators and thrive on cross-team collaborations to build great products that deliver big business impacts at global scale that are highly visible at the firm.
The team is seeking to hire a Product Manager to join a dynamic and successful team and take roadmap ownership of a significant product portfolio. Successful product managers combine intellectual curiosity with business acumen and drive execution by partnering with stakeholders in operations, marketing, and especially engineering. You will possess and continually expand your understanding of the digital media, anticipate industry trends, and craft a vision for the future of a rapidly evolving business.
Establish product vision and execution strategy through collaboration with stakeholders.
Collaboration with sales team members to identify new products and offerings to expand partnerships and increase revenue.
Identifying and vetting new opportunities to drive engagement with our end users.
Working with research and analytics teams to gather and analyze audience research and traffic to inform product strategy, new products, and enhancements.
Definition of new product specifications, user stories, and details taking a user-focused approach to product development.
Planning and executing (agile) roadmaps by working cross-functionally with technology, design/UX, and project management teams.
Working with our analytics team to define and measure KPIs for success.
Collaborating with marketing, editorial, commercial, and customer teams on a go-to-market and communication plan.
Leverage data and customer insights to make data-informed decisions.
Conducting user interviews as part of developing user-focused products and solutions
Leverage LEAN Product development approach in bringing new products to market quickly and for ongoing iteration.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
3+ years of Product Management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated success presenting compelling recommendations to senior business management
An evidence-driven analytical mindset that prefers measurable outcomes to hyperbole
Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
Experience defining and implementing product requirements for web and mobile apps.
Proven ability to partner with a technology organization.
Highly strategic as well as detail-oriented.
Here are some things that we'd prefer to see, though none is independently a requirement:
Experience in digital advertising, mobile apps and/or web-based technologies.
Experience as tech project, product or program manager within Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development environments.
Hands-on experience with some form of software programming or data analysis
Experience leading product development for mobile apps, OTT apps, outstream/instream video, and/or web pages
