Dow Jones Account Manager in NEW YORK, New York

Job Description:

Overview of Role

The Account Manager is a client-facing digital media expert who spearheads post-sale client success for the Wall Street Journal Barron's Group's largest advertisers across the complete product portfolio. The Account Management team works closely with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure that client needs are met, partnership initiatives are successful, and campaign outcomes are fully and successfully delivered.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a digital media maven with experience crafting data-centric narratives, highly organized and solution-oriented, a great communicator, problem solver, and team player.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide top-tier client service to top advertisers. Serve as the clients’ singular point of contact throughout post-sale ensuring campaign and long-term partnership success. Build collaborative client relationships and serve as a solution-oriented partner.

  • Serve as a liaison between external and internal teams working towards successful campaigns. Oversees cross-department collaboration and knows how/when to efficiently leverage necessary resources.

  • Develop a deep understanding of a client’s objectives and KPI, ensuring that WSJ BG’s advertising solutions deliver against those needs, providing alternative solutions as needed.

  • Constantly provide updates on each partnership’s success and challenges. Deliver data-driven and actionable insights and recommendations. Utilize all available tools to provide routine reporting, insights and optimization opportunities.

  • Develops client-facing materials and leads client presentations. Navigate pre-launch, post-launch, performance and execution focused conversations with partners, ensuring we’re approaching all challenges with a solution oriented mindset.

  • Develops and presents best-in-class wrap reports (inclusive of events, research, standard media, etc) to highlight program value and impact at the campaign’s conclusion with the ultimate goal of driving increased renewals.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Strong understanding of digital media and campaign performance.

  • Expert knowledge on digital reporting tools including (but not limited to): Google Ad Manager, MOAT, Bombora, Adobe Analytics and others.

  • Possess superb interpersonal, presentation, organizational and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate across departments while keeping people and projects moving on schedule.

  • High attention to detail. Strong analytical, quantitative and strategic problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly build positive team relationships.

  • Solution-minded, always proactively looking for ways to improve efficiency and solve challenges

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

  • Be able to think strategically and act tactically.

  • 2-6 years working experience in digital media advertising.

NYC Pay Range: $50,000 - $180,000
