Investor’s Business Daily is looking to hire a Social Media Manager to work with our Marketing and Content teams in Los Angeles. The Social Media Manager will manage the various social platforms IBD utilizes to engage users and boost our social presence with innovative and creative social media strategies.

About the Role/Position:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and managing our social media strategy. You will collaborate with the Marketing and Creative Teams to develop promotional and educational content to increase our social following. The Social Media Manager will also focus on increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media outlets.
Develop social media marketing campaigns and contests to help achieve marketing goals
Work closely with content and video teams on creating strategies and content for IBD’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts
Provide feedback and analysis on social media activities to management and other departments
Interact with customers and social followers via the company’s social media accounts
Set KPIs for social media campaigns and social platforms
Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
Bachelor degree or higher in related field
3+ years of social media marketing experience
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, StockTwits and TikTok
Good understanding of social media KPIs
Have a passion for social media
Great verbal and written communication skills
Able to build strong working relationships with coworkers, customers, and company management.
