Dow Jones Sr Manager, EMEA Communications in LONDON, United Kingdom

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Harmonize internal and external communications in EMEA with the overarching communications strategy, plans and narrative for Dow Jones, while tailoring (as appropriate) to meet regional needs

  • Lead EMEA media relations efforts to promote Dow Jones and its brands in the market by developing and maintaining close, productive and strategic relationships with media outlets and internal/external communications partners

  • Build strong relationships with and proactively advise leaders on communications opportunities, pitching strategies, stories and tactics

  • Collaborate with Communications Business Partners across Dow Jones to deliver on regional communications needs to internal stakeholders

  • Use traditional and digital communication channels in creative ways that resonate with audiences and align with the overall strategy

  • Partner with Director, Crisis Communications & Reputation Management to handle emerging reputational and crisis incidents and proactively mitigate and/or plan for risks

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in communications

  • Strong existing relationships with relevant media across EMEA

  • A diverse mix of experience in PR and corporate communications is highly preferred

  • Building and executing communications strategies and plans

  • Advising senior stakeholders on communications needs

  • Storytelling and messaging

  • Traditional + digital media

  • Reputational risk planning and crisis communications
