Job Description:
The Product Manager, Risk & Compliance, SaaS Products, is responsible for the coordination and overall management of the functional product development lifecycle for Risk & Compliance’s SaaS products. You will report directly into the Director of SaaS and be part of the Risk & Compliance Product Strategy Team and will require regular interaction and liaison with Dow Jones technology team and third-party teams.
The Product Manager will ensure that both the existing Product features are operating as specified and all new product features are defined, delivered both internally and to our client base.
The B2B Risk and Compliance business at Dow Jones helps businesses deal with regulations and avoid risks. We offer tools and services to help our customers stay compliant, spot potential problems, and make smart decisions to protect their business and reputation. By monitoring data, news, and regulations, we provide insights to manage risks effectively.
You Will:
Develop the high-level requirements for new SaaS product enhancements and product features.
Manage the product development lifecycle for Risk & Compliance's SaaS products.
Ensure existing product features are operating as specified and define, specify, scope, schedule, deliver, and communicate new product features.
Understand client and product requirements, review client feedback and influence prioritization decisions.
Contribute to the development of high-level requirements and the product roadmap.
Conduct business impact assessments for product changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize roadmap items and maintain the project plan.
Help with internal testing, communication of feature releases, and maintenance of user guides.
Stay informed about customer needs and the risk and compliance market.
Engage with sales and customers to understand product usage and collect feedback for enhancements.
Work with sales, marketing, policy, research, and proposition teams to position products effectively in the marketplace.
Identify new product opportunities through enhancements or new offerings.
You Have:
3+ years experience as a Product Manager with a successful track record.
Experience with the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Project management capabilities
Experience in scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and delivering complex projects.
Excellent team player and partner manager.
Knowledge of the Risk & Compliance industry is a plus.
