People Operations (HRIS) Manager
Join the People Operations team as a key member responsible for shared service support within the News Corporation.
The HR Operations team manages a global Workday tenant with full Workday HR functionality deployed. The team manages production support, projects and system enhancements / implementations and configuration and integrations
The role will be responsible for projects and system enhancements / implementations and oversee production support work – always striving to improve data quality and reduce user error by suggesting audits, training and process improvements
This role will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements for system enhancements and process improvements within the Workday system and around HR processes end-to-end
Project manage major changes to the system from requirements gathering to presenting options to key stakeholders, calibration cross-business or region, document requirements and relay to configuration team, test and manage training and communications for deployment
Provide consultation around process re-engineering and take a “holistic” view of HR processes ensuring a seamless user experience
Work closely with team members and clients to troubleshoot and resolve escalated bugs and issues
Help to provide governance around set up values, mass data loads and other global aspects of the system
Spot opportunities for system enhancements by staying close to system releases and new functionality in the pipeline
Manage internal SOX control procedures and ensure compliance for configuration and system changes
5 - 7+ years of Workday experience
Experience with Workday Talent, Performance, Absence Management or Time Tracking is a plus
Strong understanding of the HR technology landscape and cutting edge solutions on the horizon
Ability to problem solve creative solutions utilizing technology to alleviate manual processes
