Job Description:EMEA Sales Planning Team, is a dynamic, diverse and an enthusiastic team.
As Manager you will be coaching & leading a group of five individuals across four regions to smoothly and efficiently be able to handle their day to day Planning responsibilities which ultimately Supports the Region Ad Sales team. You will report to the Senior Manager based in Asia.
Being the Region Expert of Products & Processes, as the Planning leader’s responsibility will be to communicate with different functions of the AdSales team. You will report to the Senior Media & Pricing Manage based in Asia.
Oversee management of planning team members ensuring their ability to hit deadlines and complete daily, weekly and monthly deliverables
Coordinate with senior planning manager in career development and coaching of planning team members
Be a resource to support of the governance process for the vertical planning team members
Support team members in responding to client requests
Provide guidance to the planning team during the media plan development process
Collaborate with the senior planning manager and planning director to identify resource challenges within the vertical.
Partner with senior planning manager on onboarding and ongoing training of associate planners and planners
Presenting Internally and externally DowJones Media Planning Offering and Product updates.
Solid understanding of Dow Jones product offering and operational capabilities
Handle multiple high priority tasks, spot challenges early on and be solution oriented, making the right decisions using an analytical approach
Continue to excel within Sales Planning Responsibilities for select accounts including:
Work with sales to provide proposal ideas and inventory solutions that best meet ourthe client expectations and proposal objectives while maintaining pricing integrity and inventory package strategy
Learning and understanding internal booking & Yield tools to produce sales proposals and reserving once a deal is approved!
Coordinate with the sales and ad ops teams to launch campaigns, and execute client optimizations so that revenue is maintained and balanced with client goals
Utilize historical data to support strategic decisions in the creation of new programs
Skills & Experience:
3 or more years working with an online advertising operations or planning team
Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem solving skills
Project Management Experience
Advanced level of Excel, Intermediate of all other Computer Applications Skills (Word, Power Point etc)
BA/BS College degree required
Experience using one or more internet ad serving system and order management systems (i.e. GAM, Operative, etc.) preferred
Experience in managing a team
