Job Description:

The London-based Marketing Manager will support the Global Brand Marketing Team across a variety of initiatives to help grow The Wall Street Journal internationally. The ideal candidate is ambitious, super creative, with an international outlook, and a willingness to get involved with both B2C and B2B marketing projects.

You will represent the voice of the customer and act as an ambassador of the WSJ brand. Through effective brand campaigns, partnerships and content marketing, you will play a crucial role in growing WSJ internationally.

You will:

  • Be responsible for managing the Marketing Associate, based in London.

  • Execute and implement data-driven, creative and strategic WSJ brand and content-marketing campaigns in order to drive readership and business growth.

  • Monitor and optimise campaigns to drive an effective ROI.

  • Identify opportunities to market WSJ to an international audience and ensure that campaigns are locally relevant and impactful.

  • Execute and report on B2B marketing campaigns. Create compelling sales presentations, materials and case studies. Work with our sales team and external platforms such as LinkedIn to identify and engage prospects.

  • Work with external partners to develop successful marketing campaigns and ensure that creative is being used in accordance with WSJ brand guidelines.

  • Exercise a thorough knowledge of the brand and key competitors, alongside an ability to balance team goals with overall company objectives.

  • Develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and collaborate effectively with other teams across the business including Sales, Operations, Data, Events and News.
