About the Role:
Working with key stakeholders across OPIS' Chemical Market Analytics (CMA) energy business, using market research, client feedback, and sales priorities, you will develop compelling and content-rich value propositions to drive the GTM marketing communications strategy into target segments. As Director - Product Marketing, you will oversee demand and lead generation, develop multi-touch integrated programs (including marketing events) that leverage various channels (digital inbounds, events, etc.), and support sales enablement toolkits and dashboards that streamline synergies between Marketing and Product Management. You will report regularly to stakeholders on the efficacy of their programs and be well-versed in designing strategic programs for product and solution uptake in mature or saturated markets. You will report to the Executive Director of Marketing.

The global OPIS marketing team drives business growth in partnership with the product and sales teams of our enterprise businesses: OPIS, Chemical Market Analytics, McCloskey, PetroChemWire and Axxis. The team focuses on demand and lead generation strategies that drive awareness, build our reputation and deepen relationships in the fuel and chemicals industries we serve.
You Will:
Implement, plan, develop, and measure integrated global product marketing programs to align with the buyer's journey, including awareness, inbound and outbound demand generation, pipeline building, sales acceleration, and localization
Help grow and implement new digital inbound marketing strategies to drive further demand from online activity
Develop global sales enablement assets and implement training strategies to instruct Sales on understanding target audiences, value propositions, buyer preferences, needs, and challenges
Create processes and account scoring techniques to help us analyze and identify when accounts require prioritization
Analyze campaigns and targets daily and compare A/B tests to ensure strategies have a measurable Return on investment
Proactively engage with the Sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and improve the impact of marketing activities
Partner with teams to track lead flow and convert opportunities
Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
Manage timelines, budgets, and resources and maintain effective communications and relationships with internal and external partners
Drive important marketing acquisition metrics, including sales leads (MQLs & SQLs), sales revenue (Won Opportunities), event registrations and Return on investment
Own marketing relationships with Sales, Customer Service and Editorial teams
Interpret marketing performance analyses to determine strategies for future success
Create and innovate new ideas that increase lead generation and conversion
You Have:
10+ years of proven B2B marketing leadership experience
Familiarity with the energy industry in global chemical/energy markets (preferred)
An affinity for tracking and measuring funnel velocity and conversion rates and are conversant in marketing analytics
Willingness to update and change tactics where campaigns fall short of expectations
Experience working in a cross-functional, matrix organization, including understanding global/ regional/ country organizational dynamics
Familiarity with marketing tools & platforms (i.e. HubSpot, Eloqua, On24), Salesforce, Google Ads/Analytics and their reporting capabilities
Content marketing capabilities, including strategy, writing, creation, and execution of marketing assets across multiple media – including social media, blogs, websites, and email
Experience tracking record of measurable success in developing and growing pipelines through innovative programs to increase company growth
Analytical capabilities which include the ability to navigate through a complex matrix organization and lead process changes
