Provide effective front-line of HR support to employees and managers and provide administrative and operational support to VP People Asia-Pacific.
Act as point of contact and liaison across HR specialty functions (compensation, recruitment, learning & development, global mobility, and legal).
Manage the whole employee life cycle including attracting and identifying the right talents, on-boarding, and implementing programs in talent development and retention, organize and deploy change management programs, and off-boarding.
Conduct new-hire orientations, HR informational trainings, and Exit Interviews.
Analyze data, surfaces issues, and trends related to client groups/sites to the People team.
Counsel employees and provide support to managers concerning work related problems. Work closely with the VP People Asia-Pacific on sensitive ER matters.
Assist in the development of local HR tools and processes, ensuring consistency with market practice and compliance with employment laws.
Assist/manage initiatives, as required, including those related to engagement, the development and implementation of global HR policies and practices.
Other projects, duties and responsibilities as needed.
Excellent knowledge in Hong Kong employment law is required. Strong knowledge of HR practices and policies, industry trends, and knowledge on other Asian labour laws preferred.
Bachelor’s degree with around 8 years’ solid generalist HR experience.
Hands-on experience in recruitment, employee development programs, and in handling employee relations issues.
Working knowledge on compensation and benefits analysis and strategies, in relation to market practice and advantage.
Ability to remain focused and confident in a fast-paced environment, and be ready to handle delicate situations and sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
Well-developed decision making, prioritization and problem solving skills.
Strong initiative to work independently, be self-motivated with a positive mindset.
Effective communication skills. Good IT and HR management system skills. Experience in Workday is preferred.
