Job Description:
We have an exciting leadership role for a Senior Manager, Product Security who will be responsible for the product and application security design, development and strategy roadmap. The Senior Manager, Product Security will contribute expertise, embrace emerging trends and provide overall guidance and governance on security best practices across all of News Corp business and technology groups.
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills that will be required to partner with other leaders across the global business, to identify opportunities and risks. The position will require the ability to multitask and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed.
Key responsibilities include:
Contribute to and develop a digital security product roadmap
Oversee development of secure products and features
Govern and manage vendors and 3rd party relationships related to digital security
Represents the News Corp Enterprise Security strategy while engaging with other senior technical leaders throughout the organization
Champions DevSecOps security model so that security is automated and elastic across all platforms.
Lead and implement product security methodologies, standards and processes
Qualifications and Skills:
BA/BS degree in Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, Cybersecurity, a related field or experience.
Experience with programme and project management methodologies and road map development
Demonstrated experience in Product or Application Security
Background in DevSecOps, S-SDLC, application security, threat modelling and architecture reviews
Experience developing and implementing application security processes and standards
Exposure to Dev tools such as Github, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.
Expertise in Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies, tactics and strategy to protect, detect, respond and recover from attacks.
Recognized expertise in Agile and implementation of security in DevSecOps, CI/CD frameworks, S-SDLC
Experience with Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google cloud (GCP)
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, through all levels of the organization.
