About the Role:
The Product Analyst, R&C SaaS, contributes to the management of the functional product development lifecycle of R&C screening and monitoring products. You will report directly into the Product Manager of our screening products within the Risk & Compliance Product Team and will require regular interaction and liaison with the Dow Jones technology team and third-party teams.
The Product Analyst will ensure that both the existing Product features are operating as specified and new product features are defined, specified, scoped, scheduled, delivered and communicated both internally and to our client base. Although you will focus on the screening and monitoring SaaS area of our business, the remit may also expand to wider SaaS product work.
Product migrations will form a necessary part of the role, as we move customers from legacy systems to our brightest and next products.
We are looking for strong collaboration skills to work across the business to ensure that existing products are understood and represented and any improvements to existing products and new products are motivated by customer demand and business need.
You Will:
Work on the high-level requirements for product enhancements and new product features
Co-own management of the screening and monitoring Product Roadmap and associated delivery and internal testing schedule.
Define Roadmap Prioritisation and ensure this is understood by relevant Technology partners.
Be a necessary contributor to Sprint Planning and Backlog Management, ensuring that agreed priorities are followed, minor changes are progressed and the Backlog is maintained to retain Engineering utilisation.
Help with the communications (internally and externally) of new feature releases and maintenance of user guides and product support materials.
Work with both Sales and Customers to support understanding of contracted products, and collect feedback on usage and suggestions for enhancements.
Work with Sales and the Product Manager to develop solutions to customer -specific needs, especially with respect to specialized data needs.
Develop the business requirements for Screening & Monitoring enhancements and work with Technology to ensure the design, scope and delivery timescales are in line with this.
Be a product expert, providing the business with the documentation, tools and training necessary to increase sales and customer satisfaction/retention.
With the Product Managers, manage the backlog of product requirements, ensuring the business is updated on plans and any changes to the original scope.
Attend customer calls to ensure that the product remains fit for purpose and develops following the roadmap and customer feedback.
Work well within a team environment while accomplishing individual projects
You Have:
Experience of, or exposure to, Product Management with a delivery track record.
Reasonable technical know-how including an understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
Project Management experience.
You are proactive and autonomous.
You are client-centric and good at understanding product requirements and influence prioritisation decisions.
Advanced stakeholder management, collaboration and communication skills, managing relationships with senior stakeholders, both within Dow Jones and externally across our clients.
Knowledge of the Risk & Compliance industry beneficial, but not essential.
