In this role, the successful candidate will provide on-site technical support to internal clients in Barcelona and remote support within the EMEA region. He/She will be responsible for installation, implementation and maintenance of internal computer systems, including server based applications and infrastructure for all users in the Dow Jones offices.
Degree or Diploma in Computer / Electronics Engineering or Computer Science
3-5 years of working experience in related field
Comprehensive working knowledge of Windows Desktop and Apple MAC OS.
Mobile device deployment and management experience
Must be experienced implementing and maintaining network hardware.
Knowledge of LAN /WAN technologies
Knowledge of Internet Technologies
Experienced with Anti-Virus & Malware applications.
Support users in remote locations using RDP or equivalent tools.
Experience working in a Techbar or in a Genius Bar setup would be an advantage.
Highly motivated team player and self-starter
Strong verbal/written communication skills in English & Spanish.
Candidate may be required to work on weekends or public holidays and may require to travel overseas
This is a 12-month contract position.
