About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Compensation Specialist to assist our compensation team in developing, implementing, and administering a comprehensive range of compensation programs across the EMEA region. You will report to the Director of Compensation. You will be the subject matter expert on the Company's compensation structure, policies, and procedures specializing in the region. You must have an understanding of the evolving job market and the fluidity of job roles, applicable laws and regulations. Experience working with Compensation data in countries with Workers Councils or Collective Bargaining Agreements will be essential. Additionally, you will play an important role in year-end processes and will have direct interaction with senior-level executives. Data integrity skills are necessary for success in this position.

You Will:

  • Responsible for researching, analyzing and developing local, regional and international compensation plans to maintain competitiveness in terms of pay practice.

  • Review and provide thoughtful and holistic recommendations in pay for new hires, promotions, and pay adjustments; use best practices in pay and compensation.

  • Be the main contact and advisor by supporting the local office Leadership Team

  • Responsible for remuneration analysis and country-specific pay gap reporting requirements e.g. UK Pay Gap and Spanish Gender Pay and Transparency reporting.

  • Handle ongoing job analysis, job evaluation and market pricing of global positions including positions in APAC region

  • Conduct equity analysis of roles in response to changing organizational needs, market values and geographic differentials.

  • Ensure all roles follow our job architecture and we're maintaining the integrity of the structure within the Workday system. Support the People team to raise awareness of this across the leadership team.

  • Analyze Dow Jones global pay practices and provide summaries on pay including trends on business spend, allocations of higher merit increases and provide metrics on our pay trends globally.

  • Support the Global Mobility Lead to refine and improve internal processes for hires, transfers and secondments with clear and consistent working practices.

  • Establish internal working relationships and support People team members and COEs (i.e. EMEA Benefits team, Payroll team, HRBP's, and HR Associates )

  • Manage survey requirements.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of relevant compensation experience

  • Comprehension of the facets of Human Resources including Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Business Partners, Training, and Organizational Development. It is important that you are familiar with how these teams operate cohesivelyDemonstrated experience of independently taking ownership of your work and solving problems independentlyFamiliarity with labor legislation and the pay transparency directives across the EU and the UK

  • Knowledge of annual salary and bonus processes including corporate bonus structures and sales incentive compensation plans

  • Experience evaluating markets and trends affecting compensation.

  • Demonstrated experience with the full employee lifecycle (recruiting - termination)

  • Familiar with Compensation tools such as MarketPay, Workday or similar

  • Experience with reporting/analytical tools, i.e. Excel (can perform complex functions and formulas) , Google Sheets

  • Working knowledge of US and international compensation.

  • Experience working with Compensation data in countries with Workers Councils or Collective Bargaining Agreements

  • Experience making recommendations for country-specific challenges and able to mitigate risks to the business

  • People Business Partner and/or Recruiting experience is a plus
