Dow Jones Translator, Japanese Language in NEW YORK, New York

Job Description:

The Japanese edition of The Wall Street Journal seeks an experienced translator to translate real-time news stories as well as some longer feature pieces that are the trademark of the Journal.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide not only accurate translation, but professional writing that will satisfy our discerning readers and the needs of our customers on both our professional and consumer platforms.

Job Requirements:

  • Fluent Japanese and several years' prior experience translating business or finance news are musts for this job.

  • An eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality translation.

  • Candidates with prior experience in a business newsroom will be favored for this job.
